Advani beat Robert Hall of England with a score of 1928 – 893 in what looked like a one-sided final.

Pankaj has already pocketed two ‘grand doubles’ in 2005 and 2008 respectively. He has done it again with two back-to-back titles this week adding yet another record to his already illustrious career.

Last Week, Pankaj claimed the World Title in the Points Format by beating Peter Gilchrist, current World No. 1 in the Finals.

Earlier, Pankaj squeezed out a thrilling five-point win over David Causier of England in the semi-finals to put himself in line for a double in the World Billiards championship.

In the four-hour semi-final, Advani, winner of the points format title last week, was saved by the clock as he beat Causier 1180-1175 and set up a clash with England's Robert Hall who put out Balachandra Bhaskar 978-824.

Former Indian cueist and nine-time World Champion Geet Sethi congratulated Pankaj for his title and also hailed him as the most successful Indian cuesport player ever.
