Hyderabad: Senior BJP leader NVV S Prabhakar on Friday demanded that a bill to prevent religious conversions be passed in the forthcoming session of Andhra Pradesh assembly.
Addressing a press conference here today Prabhakar said that religious conversions have been on the increase in the state and many NGO were getting huge funds from foreign countries for the purpose. He also demanded a high level enquiry on foreign funds being given to such organisations and to bring in law to prevent conversions at state level immediately. PTI
