The demand was made at a conference of heads of Mutts at Sirkazhi, the birth place of Thirugnanasambandar here.
The heads of mutts expressed anguish over the manner in which Thirugnanasambandar had been portrayed in the book, authored by Solai Sundaraperumal, and alleged the contents are hurtful, defamatory and beyond accepted levels of decency. PTI
