Bigg Boss 11: Romit Raj tweets about former fiancee Shilpa Shinde after being trolled by her fans

Romit Raj, who is married to Tina Kakkar, took top Twitter a couple of days back to respond politely to trolls.

Mumbai: Arguably the most popular contestant of Bigg Boss 11 is Shilpa Shinde. The TV actress, who received maximum votes during the live audience voting at a suburban mall here, last week, may even end up winning the show. Her fans have been supporting her passionately and while doing so have even trolled her former fiancé Romit Raj.

He posted: “Instead of writing negative remarks about me, that too without knowing what’s going on in my personal life or how I am personally. You should rather vote for your favourite contestant and concentrate there instead of trolling me. Shilpa has always been dear to me and is in my prayers every day. My silence on Shilpa for 8 years clearly states how much I respect and care for her. May the best and the most deserving one win.

Shilpa and Romit started dating when they did popular TV show Maayka together.

The actor had even expressed his desire to be a part of Bigg Boss 11 but he was never approached for the show.

His former fiancée is one of the finalists unless of course the makers of the show plan a surprise mid-week eviction.

Shilpa is competing with colleague Hina Khan and Vikas Gupta on one aide and commoners Puneesh Sharma and Akash Dadlani on the other.

The grand finale episode of the show hosted by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will be aired on Sunday, January 14. Interestingly, Shilpa is Salman’s favourite contestant this season.
