Mumbai: Kapil Sharma is on a film promotion spree these days. The star comedian, who is all set to make a splash on the silverscreen with his debut home production Firangi, recently visited the sets of talent hunt show Super Dancer.

As Kapil speaks English, judges - Shilpa Shetty, Anurag Basu and Geeta Kapoor – all burst into laughter. Even hosts Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi are left speechless.


Firangi, directed by Rajiev Dhingra also stars Monica Gill and Ishita Dutta. It happens to be Kapil’s second film in Bollywood. He was launched in 2015 by Abbas –Mustan in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, a comedy film in which Kapil romanced 4 heroines.


The film also stars Ishita Dutta, Monica Gill,Edward Sonnenblick, Kumud Mishra, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq, Aanjjan Srivastav, Jameel Khan and Vishal O Sharma.


The Dhingra directorial, slated to release on November 24, Firangi which has music composed by Jatinder Shah, was shot extensively on the banks of the river Sutlej in Punjab. A whole village was recreated give an authentic touch and cater to the demands of the script set in the backdrop of India under the British rule.


Sharma was at an Ayurvedic centre in Bengaluru to undergo treatment a few weeks back. He hasn’t had a great year so far owing to health issues and the infamous spat with former team-member Sunil Grover. And hence, the film release comes at a very important time in his career.
