Shah said the UP government has handled all pressing issues, be it Jewar gang-rape, Mathura and Saharanpur incidents, without delay.

“The Yogi Adityanath's government has tackled everything promptly and have taken strong steps,” Shah told reporters.

On completing BJP's third year at the Centre, Shah said, “Certain things which could not be achieved in 70 years, have been attained in these three years.”

Asked to comment on filmstar Rajnikanth planning to join politics, he said, “If Rajnikanth ji wishes to enter politics, he is welcome; I'm using the word 'politics', not 'BJP', decision is up to him.”
