New Delhi: The BJP's top brass, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Amit Shah, on Thursday met here to finalise second list of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

According to sources, the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) finalised around 150 candidates, including nominees for Sahibabad and Noida, for the seven-phase state elections.

Sources said that the party will announce the second list of candidates on Friday.

The BJP had announced the first list of 149 candidates for the first and second phase of the assembly polls, which is scheduled for February 11 and 15.
