Watch - Vrindavan priest thrashed by women for allegedly molesting girls during teachings

At least two female devotees from Maharashtra alleged sexual exploitation from Vrindavan temple priest Baba Basudev Shastri.

MATHURA: A priest in Vrindavan was thrashed by followers and villagers for allegedly sexually exploitation two of his followers. 

The incident was captured and then circulated on the social media. 

In a video shared by news agency ANI, the accused is seen being thrashed with sticks by a group of girls, while he is being held with his hair by another man.

At least two female devotees from Maharashtra alleged that priest Baba Basudev Shastri exploited them.  

The accused brought the two girls from Maharashtra for teaching them Bhagwat Geeta but after few months started sexually exploiting and beating them. 

The police have arrested the accused and have registered a case against him. 

Meanwhile, the victims have been sent for medical inspection.
