Days back, to execute his pledge to administer cleanliness among state bureaucrats and to keep government offices clean, Adityanath had urged officials to desist from chewing paan, paan masala, gutka and other tobacco products while they are on their duty.

To resist people from spitting betel juice and pan in the premises of government offices, authorities under the newly elected state government in Shahjahanpurhad put tiles with pictures of gods and goddesses on the corners and staircases of administrative offices.

A day back, the newly-elected Chief Minister stated that officials with clean and honest image will be offered key positions and will be given due encouragement.
