A survey was conducted by FSSAI i.e. Food Safety and Standards Authority of India between 25 and 27 August last year. In which more than 4 thousand samples of cooking oil were collected from across the country. These included both branded and open-sold oils. In this test, 24 percent of the samples did not meet the set standards.
