India reports highest number of COVID cases in last 6 months, 81, 466 new cases reported

India again observed the largest daily upsurge in COVID-19 cases, with 81,466 fresh cases reported since Thursday, taking the total to 1.23 crore. There have also been 469 deaths due to corona in the last 24 hours in the country.
