Maharashtra Assembly Session: Rahul Narvekar has won the election for the post of Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly

The two-day session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly is being held on July 3 and 4. A meeting between BJP and Shiv Sena alliance was held yesterday regarding the election of Speaker's post. It claimed the continuation of the new government by winning the presidency and the floor test. At the same time, the new speaker was elected in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on Sunday. BJP candidate Rahul Narvekar has won the election for the post of Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Rahul got 164 votes in support, while he needed just 145 votes to register a victory.
