RBI will roll out the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in FY23: FM Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the RBI will roll out the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) in FY23. She said that the CBDC will be based on blockchain technology.
