Under Mission Shakti India shoots down Low Earth Orbit satellite, becomes elite space power: PM Modi

In his address to the nation today, PM Narendra Modi announced that India India has now become the fourth nation in the world after US, Russia and China to possess an anti-satellite weapon. He said the anti-satellite weapon successfully targeted a satellite on a low earth orbit.
