Afghanistan's government may, in the future, seek India's military aid if talks with the Taliban fail amid the withdrawal of US troops, the country's ambassador to India has said. The ambassador pointed out that the current situation in Afghanistan is "very serious" and "very problematic", with government forces actively fighting the Taliban in 150 of the 376 districts.
