Chhattisgarh, Uttaranchal and Jharkhand may have emerged as new states, but it would be a long time yet for them to get separate identity at the country's biggest business fair--the India International Trade Fair (IITF). The fledgling states, which came into existence only in the beginning of this month, were represented in their maiden trade fair as part of their original states--Chhattisgarh in Madhya Pradesh, Uttaranchal in Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand in Bihar. P K Bhandari, general manager (marketing), India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the new states are unlikely to get a separate pavilion, if they demand so, even next year.
