Russia-Ukraine war: 7 including 2 children killed in Russian airstrike in Kyiv
A Russian airstrike on a rural residential area in the Kyiv region killed at least seven people on Friday (March 7), including two children, Ukraine state police said in a statement. Police said the strike hit the village of Markhalivka, around 10 kilometres (6 miles) from the southwestern outskirts of the capital. (Reuters)

Poland arrests Spanish national suspected of spying for Russia
Poland has arrested a Spanish national of Russian origin on suspicion of participating in foreign intelligence activities, the Internal Security Agency (ABW) said on Friday.
The man, identified as an agent of Russia`s military intelligence agency (GRU), was detained in Przemysl - near Poland`s border with Ukraine - on the night of Feb. 27-28, ABW said in a statement.

Slovakia has registered 90,329 people crossing its border from Ukraine since the Russian invasion began on February 24, police said on Friday.

Under India’s evacuation mission Operation Ganga, 6,400 stranded Indian nationals have been safely evacuated so far while another 18 flights have been scheduled for the day to bring more Indians home.
