Security arrangements along Afghan border are to fight common enemy: Pak Army Chief
Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that security arrangements along its border with Afghanistan are to fight terrorists of all hue and colour.
Rawalpindi: Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that security arrangements along its border with Afghanistan are to fight terrorists of all hue and colour.
General Bajwa chaired a high-level security meeting at General Headquarters (GHQ), said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Monday.
He said Pakistan and Afghanistan have fought against terrorism and shall continue this effort together.
The Army Chief directed for more effective border coordination and cooperation with Afghan Security Forces to prevent cross-border movement of terrorists including all types of illegal movement.
General Bajwa also welcomed recent proposals from Afghan authorities to take forward the mutual coordination for result oriented efforts against terrorism.
