Sheila Dikshit open to alliance with AAP; Kejriwal not interested
In an interview to an English news channel, the Delhi Chief Minister said: `Won`t comment on alliance with AAP. I didn`t rule it out, I didn`t rule it in.`

New Delhi: After repeatedly saying that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is not a threat to the Congress in the upcoming Delhi Assembly polls, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Thursday chose to rule out any eventuality by saying that she has not ruled out an alliance with the new political outfit in the possibility of a hung Assembly in the state.
In an interview to an English news channel, the Delhi Chief Minister said: "Won`t comment on alliance with AAP. I didn`t rule it out, I didn`t rule it in." However, AAP’s chief ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal ruled out alliance with any political party, saying AAP will not be part of an alliance under any circumstances.
Kejriwal wrote on twitter that Dikshit’s statement shows Congress has conceded defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections. AAP, which claims to clean the corrupt political system if voted to power, is itself facing corruption charges recently. Dikshit, however, later issued a statement which said: "The Congress would form government on its own without any alliance in Delhi."
The Chief Minister has always refused to acknowledge the year-old AAP`s potential of harming the Congress` prospects of winning the Delhi polls for the fourth straight time.
A survey predicted a win for AAP leader Kejriwal against Dikshit in the New Delhi constituency.
Taking a jibe at the AAP, Dikshit said: "There are those who took up `jhadoo` (broom) to clean up corruption but the sting operation has shown that even they are corrupt."
