New Delhi: The video of two thieves trying to hammer and break a display case of a jewellery store in Malaysia has gone viral and is now doing its rounds on the social media.

The incident took place in Kedai Emas Sri Alam jewellery store situated in the city of Shah Alam.


The viral footage captured on a CCTV camera, installed in the store, shows a gang of thieves wearing helmets barging into the shop and attempting to rob the store.


The clip, shared on July 25, has garnered over 5.8 million views on Facebook.


The Facebook post confirmed that nobody was injured, although the store will remain shut for next two weeks as repairs take place, reports India.com.


Reportedly, the display case was apparently made out of polycarbonate glass which is 10 times more resistant than regular glass or plastic.
