New Delhi: German automobile manufacturer specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans launched the Macan R4 SUV at Rs 76.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in India on Tuesday.


At this price, the vehicle become one of the most accessible Macan and joins the other variants which include the S Diesel, Turbo and Turbo with the performance package.

A 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that is tuned to produce 252PS of power and 370Nm of torque powers the Macan R4.


The company claims that the Macan R4 can complete the 0-100kmph sprint in a mere 6.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 229kmph.


The Macan R4 is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) air suspension feature, has three-zone automatic climate control system, voice recognition, traction control system, a seven-inch Porsche Communication Management (PCM) touchscreen infotainment system, eight-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, cruise control, powered tailgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, daytime running LEDs and a multi-function steering wheel with paddle-shifters.


Customers can also opt for personalisation options such as bi-xenon or LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof and heated seats.
