A Delhi-bound IndiGo flight (6E-2126) was reportedly grounded on July 21 (Thursday night) at Patna airport after a passenger claimed that he had a bomb in his bag. The bomb squad and CISF were scrambled and later, when his bag was checked, no bomb was found. The passenger has been arrested and the plane is being checked further. All passengers were safely deboarded at the Patna airport after the information and the plane was checked thoroughly. All bags were removed from the plane for checking.

As a precautionary measure, the authorities have decided to cancel the flight tonight (Thursday night). Patna police also come into action and immediately sent multiple teams of bomb and dog squads. They were searching the entire airport premises till the time of reporting.

The Bomb squad & Police personnel are conducting an inspection after a man in a Delhi-bound flight reportedly claimed that he had a bomb in his bag. His bag was checked further and no bomb was found.


Reacting on it, an official said: "We have not found any bomb or suspicious article from the plane or anywhere else from the airport premises so far. The search operation is currently underway in and outside the airport. Bomb and dog squad were also present at the search operation."
