New Delhi: Bhojpuri superstar Dinesh Lal Yadav, whose multi-starrer Border was released on Eid, indulged in a war of words with a journalist who badmouthed his new release. Now, his co-star Rani Chatterjee has also extended her support to the actor.
A journalist/reporter took to his Facebook page to express his take on Border and its performance at the Box Office. He also wrote about Nirahua's publicity campaigns ahead of the release of the film.
Nirahua shared screenshots of the journalist's posts that criticised him and his film Border and wrote, "Ye Shashikant singh hain
Meri film Border Ke roj anap sanap likh Rahe hain inke sath kya salook kiya jana chahiye
Ye Facebook pe hi ye sub karte hain isliye mai bhi Facebook pe hi aap logon se poochh rha hoon
Border film bana Ke koi gunah kiya hai Maine
Ye admi jo kar rha hai Kya isko patrakarita kahte hain
Aap log bhi inse poochhiye
facebook pe message karke (sic)."
Actress Rani Chatterjee was amongst the first ones to extend her support to Nirahua and his team
She posted a video Tuesday morning to voice solidarity with her colleague.

In his post, the journalist had alleged that audience in a certain locality watched Border only because tickets for Khesari Lal Yadav's Dulhin Ganga Par Ke weren't available.
Interestingly, Bollywood personalities like Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani extended support to this film by asking fans to watch Border.
The film written and directed by Santosh Mishra also stars Pravesh Lal Yadav, Shubhi Sharma, Vikrant Singh, Sushil Singh, Awdhesh Mishra, Sanjay Pandey, Aditya Ojha, Gaurav Jha, Vijay Lal Yadav, Vishal Singh, Avinash Dwivedi, Ansuman Rajput, Manoj Tiger, Kajal Yadav, Ananya Mishra, Richa Dixit and Kiran Yadav.
If the reports are anything to go by, Border is Bhojpuri cinema's costliest film. It was shot over a period of 50 days and was completed a day before Chaitra Navratri ended this year.
