This comment didn't go down too well with other actors from the industry and Anjana Singh and Gargi aka Priyanka Pandit have condemned Khesari for the statement. Now, after this hullaballoo, Khesari even rubbished all such claims and stated that his statement has been misconstrued.  He took to his Facebook to share a video to clarify his stance and urge people to watch the interview in its entirety to know what he actually said.

Now, Gargi aka Priyanka Pandit in a fresh twist to the tale took to her Facebook and in a love video made a startling allegation against Khesari. She alleged that the actor called her and threatened her. She said that he called her 'frustrated' as Gargi did not find any work opposite the superstar.

Yogesh Raj, the director of Khesari's Dabang Sarkar extended support to the actor and urged people to watch the full interview before forming an opinion.

Khesari Lal Yadav rose to fame in 2012 with Bhojpuri hit film 'Saajan Chale Sasural'. The star was awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award on January 4, 2017, for his contribution to Bhojpuri cinema.
