Are you virgin? Patna`s IGIMS asks its employees
In a marital status declaration form, the IGIMS asks its employees whether they are a widower or a bachelor or a virgin.
Patna: In a bizarre incident, the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) in Bihar capital Patna has asked its employees to declare their virginity and the number of wives they have in a marital status declaration form.
In the form, the medical institute asks its employees whether they are a widower or a bachelor or a virgin.
The IGIMA also asks its employees to declare whether they are "married to a person who has no other wife living" or "married and have more than one wife".
"I request that in view of the reasons stated below (sic), I may be granted exemption from the operation of restriction of the recruitment of service of person having more than one wife living," the form further reads.
Recently, IGIMS had been in news for wrong reasons.
It had allegedly refused to provide an ambulance to the parents of a child, who died battling cancer here. After which, the father had to carry the body of his five-year-old son on his shoulder, reported news agency ANI.
