"I am not a criminal or a terrorist. Sushil Modi should go ahead with the wedding without worry or fear," he said.

A video purportedly showing Tej threatening to disrupt the wedding had surfaced recently.

News channels had beamed the video footage showing him delivering a speech in Aurangabad district, where he had said "I have been invited by Sushil Modi to attend the wedding of his son. If I go there, I will expose him in public".

"I will thrash him inside his house, hold a public meeting at the marriage venue and vandalise things," he was heard saying in the video.

On the other hand, RJD supremo sought to make light the recent remark made by his son.

"Tej Pratap had just made a hissing sound. And these people got so scared. They should go ahead with the wedding. Our best wishes are with them," Lalu told mediapersons.

Lalu was responding to a query about the BJP leader changing the venue of the wedding citing "security reasons".

Tej's comments had drawn a strong reaction from the Deputy CM himself who had urged Lalu to intervene and persuade his son against making provocative speeches.

Meanwhile, the marriage venue of the wedding has been changed. "The venue of Sushil Modi's son Utkarsh-Yamini's marriage has been changed to Veterinary college ground (near Patna airport) from Shakha Maidan in Rajendra Nagar," the Deputy CM's office had said in a statement issued on Saturday.

"The decision to change the venue has been taken for security reasons in view of some leaders making objectionable statements and threatening to disrupt the marriage," it had added.

All invitees are being informed accordingly about the change of the venue, the statement had said.
