New Delhi: Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan had a terrific 2016 with wrestling biopic 'Dangal' packing a super powerful punch at the box office across the country and even globally. The film based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and how he trained his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat touched not only the emotional chords of the viewers but also minted huge moolah.

According to Mid-Day.com, Aamir might be on the verge of signing a major Rs 20 crore deal with streaming content giant Netflix. Yes! You read that right. The report quotes a source as saying, “The amount being offered is anywhere between Rs 15 to Rs 20 crore. Aamir is keen on signing the deal with Netflix.”


Several digital platforms have reportedly approached the makers for striking a plum deal for 'Dangal'. The actor has already made a whopping Rs 75 crore deal with a television channel for the satellite rights of the film.


Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir met the global digital giant Netflix's CEO Reed Hastings and team. SRK even shared the picture on his Twitter handle.
