Mumbai: Ajay Devgn and Prakash Jha have delivered a number of films inspired by social/political causes. The latest about the two is that they may team up once again for a project based on realistic a realistic subject.

After coming up with films like Gangaajal in 2003, Apaharan in 2005, and Raajneeti in 2010, Ajay and Prakash are reportedly in talks for a brand new film. According to a report in DNA, Ajay has liked the subject and the same will be developed in the next few months.


“Ajay and Prakashji have collaborated for some interesting films inspired by real incidents. The new subject, too, is in that space and is relevant for the present times,” DNA quoted a source as saying.


Ajay has a number of films in the pipeline and the list includes his home production Tanaji: The Unsung Warrior, a project based on Chanakya, another one on legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, Luv Ranjan's untitled film with Ranbir Kapoor and Akiv Ali's De De Pyaar De with Tabu and Rakul Preet.


He also has Indra Kumar's Total Dhamaal slated for release soon.


Ajay and Prakash had also collaborated for a romantic film titled Dil Kya Kare co-starring Kajol and Mahima Chaudhry in 1999.


Prakash's previous directorial was Jai Gangaajal starring Priyanka Chopra. It will be interesting to see what he has in store for the audience with Ajay on board once again.
