Amitabh Bachchan tweets about being mistaken for Salman Khan!
The legendary actor took to Twitter to share this bizarre experience.
Mumbai: On how many occasions have you been mistaken for someone else? Well, Amitabh Bachchan recently experienced a case of mistaken identity. The megastar who is in Glasgow was walking on the streets when someone in a car passing by mistook him for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan!
Can't believe it? It did happen! The legendary actor took to Twitter to share this bizarre experience.
He wrote: "I walk the street of Glasgow by myself .. until a car drives by and occupant yells out .. " hey Salman Khan how you doin'. "
It is apparent that the man in the car was clearly confused. However, it is surprising that the man (who seems to have been familiar with Bollywood), couldn't quite recognise the veteran, who has been in the field of acting for a little less than five decades.
For the unversed, Big B began his acting career with Saat Hindustani in 1969. But it was Mehmood's Bombay to Goa that made him a sensation overnight, reports suggest. Since then, he has ruled the roost and was rightly awarded the Actor of the Millenium Award during an event.
He will make a splash on the silver screen with Vijay Krishna Acharya's Thugs of Hindostan during Diwali this year. The action-fantasy drama will also feature Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif.
The 75-year-old is also a part of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra trilogy, a film which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
