New Delhi: Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's massive blockbuster 'Baahubali 2' not only broke several records but also created many new ones. The Prabhas starrer has emerged as the biggest hit of Indian cinema this year but faced tough competition from Aamir Khan's 'Dangal'.

Now, it has been reported that 'Baahubali 2' has beaten 'Dangal' in cracking a major Netflix deal. According to BollywoodLife.com, the film's streaming rights have been acquired by Netflix for a Rs 25.5 crore.


Aamir's sports biopic was sold to Netflix for Rs 20 crore, therefore, in that respect, 'Baahubali 2' has beaten 'Dangal'. There is a difference of over Rs 5 crore in acquisition rights, reportedly.


'Baahubali 2' has set a huge benchmark and will go down in history as one of the best product ever in Indian cinema. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in lead roles.
