New Delhi: Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar starrer 'Karwaan' is slated to release on August 3, 2018. The film is directed by Akarsh Khurana. Buzz was high that the trailer of 'Karwaan' will come out as at the same time when Ranbir Kapoor's 'Sanju' releases. However, as per the latest report, the trailer will be out on June 27, 2018.

Irrfan is suffering from a rare disease. The actor took to Twitter to reveal about his disease and later shared that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine Tumour. He wrote that he is currently undergoing treatment and hopes to be back to work soon. Fans and industry colleagues were shocked to know of his illness. Social media was flooded with messages from fans sending out prayers for the actor.


The film was earlier slated to release on August 10. However, the release has been preponed by a week.


'Karwaan' has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP in association with Ishka Films.


The film is a light-hearted comedy and revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives. 


The film has been shot in Kerala.
