Now, the actress will be working on her next based on the life of Rani Laxmibai. But there is a twist in the tale. According to BollywoodLife.com, Kangy was supposed to work in the film on Jhansi Ki Rani' being helmed by Ketan Mehta, which however will now be directed by Krish.


The film is titled as 'Manikarnika'. She will reportedly start working on its first poster soon.


Krish, earlier helmed Akshay Kumar starrer 'Gabbar Is Back'. The report mentions that the film's story has been penned by SS Rajamouli's father KV Vijayendra Prasad, who is also the writer of Baahubali.


'Manikarnika' is likely to go on floors in May.
