The bundle of energy, Ranveer is undoubtedly the next big thing in Bollywood and has proved his worth on more occasions than one.

The ‘Lootera’ of a million hearts has reportedly hiked his fee post the roaring success of Padmaavat and will be charging the same amount, his rumoured ladylove – Deepika Padukone – quotes these days.

According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer has increased his fee to Rs 13 crores! Yes, that’s right, the powerhouse of talent will be charging a whopping Rs 13 crores now.

“Hikes are the order of the day when you deliver a box office hit. Ranveer will command this price now. Had this film released all over India, his asking price would have been bigger too. As for Deepika, she charged the price since she allotted lot more days for the film, as compared to a movie that otherwise takes only 60 days of shoot. Her price for other films as Rs 13 crore now after Padmaavat stands vindicated too,” the daily quoted a trade source as saying.

As Allauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat, Ranveer sent shivers down the spine of moviegoers. He made people hate him in the film by portraying a beast-like character almost effortlessly. His body-language, dialogue delivery and spell-binding expressions in the film left people mesmerised.

The hunk of an actor is now busy with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy with Alia Bhatt and has Kabir Khan’s Kapil Dev biopic and Rohit Shetty’s masala pot-boiler Simmba in the pipeline.
