New Delhi: Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is trending all over the Internet, all thanks to 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams', a docu-drama that released last Friday. In order to promote his biographical film, the 44-year-old star has been quite active on all the platforms lately.

And, if the latest report is anything to go by, the master blaster charged a whopping amount for the flick! It is being said that the former cricketer was paid more than Rs 35 crore for his film. Yes, you read that right.


"It's somewhere close to Rs 40 crore. Maybe, not exactly 40 but he's definitely got 35-38 crore for the film," a source from the production told DNA. On the Box Office front, the film has only minted more than Rs 27 crore in first three days.


'Sachin: A Billion Dreams', directed by James Erskine, is about Tendulkar's personal journey from a young boy to a cricketing legend.
