New Delhi: Superstar Rajinikanth, who is busy shooting for his upcoming science fiction drama '2.0', suffered an injury on the sets of the film.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Thalaiva suffered a minor injury while shooting for the 'Enthiran's sequel in Chennai at 8 pm on Saturday. 


The superstar was rushed to a private hospital.


Fortunately after the medical checkup the 65-year-old actor was sent back with a suture on his leg.


Reportedly, the shoot was filmed at a location on the outskirts of the city.


A source originally attributed to a tabloid was reported as saying, ''The actor was in the hospital for half an hour from around 8:45 pm. The minor injury was dressed and he returned fine."


Reportedly, the actor wasn't injured much and resumed work soon after discharge.


S. Shankar's directorial also stars Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles.
