Cars to cost up to Rs 6.8 lakh more from January 2016: Full list
Leading car manufacturers in India are hiking the prices of their vehicles from Rs 10,000 up to Rs 6.8 lakh, across all models.

Leading car manufacturers in India are hiking the prices of their vehicles from Rs 10,000 up to Rs 6.8 lakh, across all models.
The hike, up to 3 percent, will come into effect January and will eventually affect the consumers/buyers who are looking to purchasing a new car.
Given below is the full list with the approximate hike in amount of the vehicles.
- Maruti Suzuki India: India's leading car makers will hike prices across all models by up to Rs 20,000.

- Hyundai Motors: The South Korean company announced a hike in the price of its vehicles by up to Rs 30,000.

- Toyota Kirloskar Motor: The Japanese company will hike by a minimum Rs 10,000 while the upper hike will amount to about Rs 3.8 lakh.

- Mercedes-Benz India: While the minimum price of a Mercedes car is Rs 27.5 lakh, the costliest amounts to Rs 2.7 crore. Hence, 2-3 percent hike would amount to a minimum of Rs 55,000 while the maximum hike will be Rs 5.4 lakh.

- BMW India: Considering the range in the cost of its vehicles, the minimum hike would be around Rs 57,000 while the maximum hike would be about Rs 6.8 lakh, i.e. 3 percent of Rs 2.29 crore, the costliest of its vehicles.

- GM India: Global leader is hiking the price of its vehicles in India by up to 3 percent or Rs 33,700.

- Nissan: Nissan will hike the prices of their brand of vehicles in India by up to Rs 50,000 across all models.

- Renault India: The fully-owned subsidiary of France's Renault SAS has also announced a maximum in the prices of their vehicles by up to Rs 50,000.
- Skoda: Czech auto maker Skoda will also hike prices of its entire model range by up to Rs 50,000 from January.
- Tata Motors: The company is hiking the prices of all its entire passenger vehicle model by up Rs 20,000 from January.
