New Delhi: Japanese motorcycle maker Kawasaki has launched the Versys 650 in India at a price of Rs 6.6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Here's looking at five key features of the Kawasaki Versys 650.

Compact Parallel-Twin Engine Tuned For Low-Mid Range Torque

The 649 cm3 Parallel Twin engine’s tuning is focused on achieving a throttle response that balances a powerful feeling and a quick-revving character. With Digital Fuel Injection, the engine delivers a smooth, responsive performance.

Sharp, Sporty Styling

Sharp new looks give the Versys 650 a stronger Kawasaki identity, while reflecting the sporty nature of its fun, versatile package. The new upper cowl features a horizontally split design that reinforces the compact and sporty image of the Versys 650.

Inverted Front Fork

Long-travel ø41 mm front fork with stiff springs is the key to active control of the bike’s front-rear weight transfer. Separated functions for each tube allow all adjusters to be at the top of the fork for easy adjustment.

Slim, Upright Riding Position

The compact engine and slim frame result in a design that is narrow at the knees and feet. Re-positioned foot-pegs offer a more relaxed position, making it easier for riders to spend more time in the saddle.

Adjustable Windscreen

The larger windscreen with a 60 mm range can be adjusted without tools, allowing riders to tailor their wind and weather protection. With this windscreen, not only does this help reduce wind noise and helmet buffeting, but it also creates a serene space behind which high-speed riding can be enjoyed.
