Aligarh, Nov 30: Rashtriya Kranti Party chief Kalyan Singh today said his differences with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav over the legislative council
elections in the state have been "ironed out" though ties with another ally RLD have come under "severe strain" over the issue.
Talking to newspersons here, Kalyan Singh, who just
returned from campaigning for his party candidates in Madhya
Pradesh, asserted that his differences with Yadav over the
ongoing legislative council elections have now been "ironed
out".
The RKP chief, however, admitted that relations between his party and another alliance partner - Rashtriya Lok Dal were under "severe strain" because of differences over the council polls.
Singh claimed "opinion polls regarding the MP elections are going to be wide off the mark following a last minute swing in favour of the Congress because of earlier undecided voters”.
