Tata Motors launches hatchback Tiago in Bihar

Patna: Homegrown auto major Tata Motors today made commercial launch of its new hatchback Tiago in Bihar.

The new fuel efficient vehicle would be available at a starting price of Rs 3.32 lakh (exshowroom) for Revotron 1.2 litre (petrol) and Rs 4.08 lakh (ex-showroom) in Patna for Revotorq 1.05 litre (diesel) variant, Prashant Sibal Head-B2B Sales, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit said here.

"The Tiago will be available for sale across the country in over 597 Tata Motors sales and service centres," he said at the launch of the vehicle.

Tiago comes with class leading fuel efficiency of 23.84 km per litre on Revotron 1.2 litre petrol and 27.28 km per litre on Revotorq 1.05 litre diesel as per Automative Research Association of India certification under test conditions, he said.

Tiago will be available in five variants--XB, XE,XM,XT and XZ with optional variants in XE, XM & XT, TIAGO and in six exciting colour options--Strike blue, Berry red, Sunburst Orange, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver, Sibal said.

The car will come with a warranty of two years/75,000 KM (whichever is earlier) with an extended warranty option of two year, he said.
