Freedom 251 smartphone payments to be refunded
Makers of the world`s cheapest smartphone Freedom 251 said that it would refund the payments from the first 30,000 orders, as per media reports.

New Delhi: Makers of the world's cheapest smartphone Freedom 251 said that it would refund the payments from the first 30,000 orders, as per media reports.
Initially, when Ringing Bells announced its first phase of booking on January 18, it didn't have cash on delivery option.
However, the company's website crashed after 30,000 orders were placed, for which the company had recieved payment. The company will revert payments of these orders, as per report.
Notably, the company has recently announced the new cash on delivery option via its Facebook page.
Hailed as India's most affordable smartphone, Freedom 251 was launched at just Rs 251.
The 3G handset, Freedom 251, features a 4-inch display, Qualcomm 1.3-GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB RAM.
