New Delhi/Beijing: Gionee is all set to launch the S6 Pro smartphone at an event in China on Monday.


The company has announced its event slated for June 13 via its weibo account.



Media is abuzz with speculations on the features of the smartphone through its online listing.


As per leaked listing reports, the S6 Pro smartphone, which will be a successor to the Gionee Elife S6 smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor.


Bearing a 5.5-inch screen, the S6 Pro smartphone will boast of a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash while it will have an 8-megapixel front shutter.


It will have 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage.


Referring to leaked specs, media reports have also stated that the smartphone will house a fingerprint scanner.
