New Delhi: Indian company Intex has announced the launch of Intex Aqua Star 4G at Rs 6,499.


The Aqua Star 4G comes with two latest features: iData saver and Swalekh/Matrabhasha.


The iData saver is powered by Opera Max (data saving app) which would reduce the consumption of data upto 50% on images, web browsing and apps that contain heavy audio-video files such as Instagram, Youtube etc..


The device also sports a Swalekh and Matrabhasha feature which enables user to write in their native language (communication in 21 regional languages) while chatting, tweeting or composing emails and text messages. It supports word prediction (English to Native) and auto-correct with a native language keyboard.


The dual sim Aqua Star 4G runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. It packs 1GB of RAM and 8GB onboard storage (up to 32GB expansion via microSDcard).


The model comes with 5inch (720x1280 pixels) HD IPS display and available in Black, Grey, and White colours. It features 8 megapixel rear shutter with LED flash and 2 megapixel front shutter. The handset supports 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity along with 2000mAh battery capacity.
