New Delhi: About 100 companies have been served notice by the Registrar of Companies (RoC) on the issue of improper disclosure of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) spending, as per a report in Economic Times.


The government has asked these firms to provide proper details. The punishment includes prosecution as well.


It is mandatory to file proper disclosure of CSR spend by companies as mandated by the Companies Act, 2013.
