New Delhi: A mass pledge against taking or giving bribe indeed needs to be given three cheers from all. The staff, contractors, consultants and all other stakeholders associated with the National Highways Authority of India( NHAI) publicly pledged not to take or give any inducement or obligation from each other.


To mark NHAI's 21st foundation day, the NHAI Chairman Raghav Chandra administered a pledge to all the stakeholders involved in the projects carried out by the infrastructure authority that they will upkeep integrity, ethics and honesty in their day-to-day dealings, will not tarnish the name, prestige and image of NHAI and complete the projects in time.


Senior executives of infrastructure companies like Sapoorji Pallonji,  GMR, GVK, Oriental Structural Engineers and IRB were also present.  including the , do everything to uphold the name, prestige and image of NHAI and complete projects in time.


NHAI officials have often been in news for cases of bribery and corruption.
