Bajaj Finserv net profit up 26% at Rs 437 crore
Bajaj Finserv Wednesday reported 26 percent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 437 crore for the third quarter ended December of 2015-16.
New Delhi: Bajaj Finserv Wednesday reported 26 percent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 437 crore for the third quarter ended December of 2015-16.
The company had made profits of Rs 347 crore in October-December quarter of previous fiscal, 2014-15.
Consolidated gross revenue of the company grew by 12 percent to Rs 5,396 crore for the reported quarter, as against Rs 4,802 crore a year ago.
Bajaj Finserv Ltd (BFS) is the holding company for various financial services businesses under the Bajaj group.
BFS is in the financing business through Bajaj Finance Ltd (BFL) and in protection business through Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd and Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co Ltd.
It is an RBI recognised core investment company and comes under the Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) regulations.
Bajaj Finserv stock closed 3.39 percent higher at Rs 1,880.70 on BSE.
