Athens (Greece), Oct 01: US first lady Laura Bush has been invited to the 2004 Olympics in recognition of Washington's decision to rejoin the UN cultural organisation Unesco, Greek officials said yesterday.
Bush - who is on a five-day trip to Paris and Moscow - was asked to attend the games by Greece's cultural minister, Evangelos Venizelos, during a Unesco meeting in Paris.
