The whole process will take about 15 days. However, during the first 90 days of trial, which is till December 31, you cannot swift back to your old operator.

Reliance Jio 4G tariff plans:

The tariff plans of Reliance Jio 4G starts from as low as Rs 19 which comes with unlimited voice calling and free roaming, 100MB of data plus unlimited night data to as high at Rs 4,999 tariff plan which combines 75GB of data plus unlimited night data.

All recharges will carry unlimited voice calling and free coming for life.

Smartphones supporting Reliance Jio 4G:

Reliance Jio has partnered with at least 18 smartphone brands for their services. These brands are Samsung, Micromax, Asus, HTC, Panasonic, Intex, LG, YU, Gionee, Karbonn, Lava, Xolo, TLC, Alcatel, Sony, Videocon, Sansui and Vivo.

However, Reliance Jio will be only those smartphones with 4G VOLTE support.

And while major brands such as Xiaomi and Lenovo are missing from the list, reports suggest that these smartphone brands can be used as beta tester for the company – in other words, Xiaomi and Lenovo smartphones too will support the Reliance Jio SIM.
