Talgo trains in India: Know more about train that is high on technology, comfort

New Delhi: The currently undergoing test trials of high speed train Talgo have created quite a buzz in the country.
Are you aware of the technology which makes this high-speed train imported from Spain provide such high level of safety and comfort?
1. India is currently testing trails of the Talgo 250 category of train that has the maximum speed of 250 km per hour. However, Indian Railways will be testing Talgo train at a speed not more than 180 km per hour.
2. The Talgo 250 is a dual voltage electric train (AC/DC) equipped with variable gauge axles. This allows the units to be used on high-speed lines and on conventional broad gauge lines.
3. Talgo uses the technology of lightweight construction, articulated union between coaches, guided axels and independent wheels and natural tilting system.
