Beijing, Nov 02: China and Pakistan are expected to issue a joint declaration and sign several agreements, including a preferential trade pact and an extradition treaty, to enhance their "all weather" comprehensive relationship during President Pervez Musharraf's visit here tomorrow, sources said here today. "A joint declaration that would redefine the traditional Sino-Pakistani relations in the 21st century is expected to be signed after Musharraf's talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao here on Monday," the sources said.

The joint declaration is expected to be similar to the one India and China issued during Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's visit to Beijing in June. Musharraf, who has arrived in the southernmost Chinese province of Hainan yesterday to attend the second Boao forum for Asia Annual Conference, would arrive here tomorrow on a two-day state visit, Chinese foreign ministry sources said.

"Musharraf will meet and hold talks with Chinese leaders and both sides will exchange views upon enhancing the China-Pakistani relationship, regional and international issues," Chinese foreign ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue said.
