New Delhi: India is amongst the wealthiest countries in the world occupying the seventh spot, ahead of Canada, Australia and Italy.

According to a report by New World Wealth, US is the wealthiest in the world in terms of total individual wealth  ofUSD 48,900 billion.

China and Japan came second and third with total individual wealth of USD 17,400 billion and USD 15,100 billion, respectively.

3. Japan ($15,100 billion)

4. United Kingdom ($9,200 billion)

5. Germany ($9,100 billion)

6. France ($6,600 billion)
